The Power of Giving: U'mista Cultural Society (2012)
Located in Alert Bay, British Columbia, the U’Mista Cultural Society acts to preserve and promote the culture and heritage of the Kwakwakaʼwakw. In 2011, U’Mista Cultural Society partnered with the Staatliche Kunstammlungen Dresden in a groundbreaking exhibition - shown at Kunsthalle im Lipsiusbau, Dresden - entitled “The Power of Giving.”
Synthescape conducted multi-perspective imaging and panoramic installation photography to preserve this exhibition for the future.
